After resuming exports of the corona vaccine in October. India has exported 100 million vaccines to neighboring countries Nepal, Myanmar, Iran and Bangladesh under the Vaccine Friendship campaign. India’s launch of vaccine exports has appreciated by many countries.
Government sources said that there is a huge demand for made-in-India corona vaccine in neighboring countries. In several diplomatic visits, most of the South Asian neighbors have urged India to resume exports of vaccines from time to time.
India had to stop its Vaccine Friendship campaign in early May this year during the second wave of Corona. The government last month announced the resumption of exports of the vaccine when the situation in the country improved.

However, the efficacy (AFKC) of the Chinese vaccine Sinapharm has always been under question. Neighboring countries rely heavily on made-in-India vaccines.
