The Corona vaccination campaign was start on 16 January.
The nationwide immunization drive was launch on 16 January with the first phase immunization of health workers (HCWs) in the country. The vaccination of frontline personnel against Covid-19 started from February 2.
The next phase of COVID-19 vaccination began on March 1 for people aged 60 and above and those aged 45 years and above suffering from other diseases. The country started vaccination for all people over the age of 45 from 1 April.
The government then decided to expand its vaccination campaign by allowing everyone over the age of 18 to vaccinated from May 1. Right now, all people above 18 years of age are being vaccinated across the country to prevent corona virus infection.
