Coronavirus : In the last 24 hours, 33 thousand 376 new cases of corona infection have reported across the country, after which the total cases of corona infection reported so far have increased to 3 crore 32 lakh 8 thousand 330. According to the latest data released by the Health Department, 4 lakh 42 thousand 317 cases of death due to coronavirus infection have been reported in the country so far.
The national rate of recovery of patients is 97.49 percent.
At present, the number of active cases in the country is 3 lakh 91 thousand 516, which is 1.18 percent of the total cases. The national recovery rate of patients is 97.49 percent. In the last 24 hours, 870 more patients have joined the cases under treatment. The cases under treatment stood at 3,90,646 on Friday. Apart from this, a total of 15,92,135 samples were teste for COVID-19 on Friday. Taking the total number of samples tested so far in the country to 54,01,96,989.
The death rate from Corona is 1.33 percent.
According to the Ministry of Health, the daily infection rate was record at 2.10 percent. It has remained less than three percent for the last 12 days. The weekly infection rate was record at 2.26 per cent which has running below three percent for the last 78 days. According to the data, the number of people recovering from the disease has increased to 3,23,74,497 while the death rate is 1.33 percent.
So far 73 crore vaccines have administered in India.
The Union Health Ministry said on Friday that about 73 crore doses of vaccine have given in the country so far. By 7 pm on Friday, more than 56 lakh doses of the vaccine had given. The daily vaccination numbers are expect to increase till the final reports come out late at night, the ministry said. The Health Ministry said that the vaccination campaign being run to protect the most vulnerable population groups in the country from COVID-19 is regularly reviewed and monitored at the highest level.
