 Covaxin Vaccine : Good news from Brazil about Covaxin, Anvisa audit approved. Suchitra Ella, joint managing director of Bharat Biotech, tweeted that Covaxin got approval for Brazil-Anvisa audit.

For those getting Vaccine, the way to go abroad may open by September this year. The World Health Organization (WHO) has applied for the EUL (Emergency Use Listing) and regulatory approval is expect by July-September 2021. It is being told that the listing can done between July and September.

Covaxin gets approval for unvisa audit

Regulatory approval process underway in more than 60 countries

Along with this, Suchitra Ila said, ‘Regulatory approval for Covaxin is in process in more than 60 countries including United States, Brazil, Hungary. Apart from this, emergency use (EUA) has approved in 13 countries and many more countries will join it. The World Health Organization (WHO) has applied for the EUL (Emergency Use Listing) and regulatory approval is expect by July-September 2021.

Brazil approves import of Covaxin

Let us tell you that recently Brazil’s National Health Monitoring Agency-ANVISA has approved the proposal for import of Vaccine. Initially, Brazil is expect to get 4 million doses of Covaxin as per regulatory approval. After using these, the agency will analyze the data and based on that will decide the quantity of the next shipment of imports.

Earlier Brazil had refused imports

Earlier, Anvisa had refused to allow the import of Covaxin. It had found that the plant where the vaccine is being make in India does not meet the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements.
