In the second ODI, West Indies have won the toss and India has invited to bat first. In the second match, West Indies captain Kieron Pollard is not playing and Nicholas Pooran is captaining. WI openers Shai Hope and Brandon King have walked out to begin the visitors’ chase of 238 in 50 overs. Mohammed Siraj and Shardul Thakur are sharing the new ball.

Ind Vs Wi : West Indies had to change captain
West Indies’ regular captain Kieran Pollard is not playing in this match due to injury, which is why Nicholas Pooran has to captain. Kieran Pollard was not able to do anything special in the first match, but the captain’s exit from the team is a big blow for the West Indies.
It is worth noting that a three-match ODI series is being played between India and West Indies in Ahmedabad itself. In the first match, the Indian team won by 6 wickets, if Team India wins the second ODI too, then the series will be captured. The third ODI of the series is to be played on 11 February. After that both the teams have to play a series of 3 T20 matches in Kolkata.
Team India innings-
India were not able to get going and have manage to get only 237 in their 50 overs after losing nine wickets. KL Rahul, who was drop early in his innings, was unfortunately run out at 49 while Suryakumar Yadav top-scored with 64 off 83 balls. Apart from these two batters, Only Deepak Hooda was able to exert some influence as he scored a 25 ball 29. Rest all the India batters just couldn’t find their groove.
