Filmmaker Karan Johar and his family are on self-isolation at his home, as two of his domestic workers tested positive for the coronavirus.
The filmmaker Karan Johar said in a statement that he and his family also took the test but tested negative.
However, as a precautionary measure, they will be in self-isolation for the next 14 days.
On Monday, which was also Johar’s birthday, the filmmaker released a statement that read,
“I would like to inform you that two members of our domestic staff have tested positive for COVID 19.
As soon as symptoms are detected Chala, they were put down. Quarantine in a part of our building. BMC was immediately informed, and the building has been purified and sterilized as per norms. ”
“All the rest of us in the family and staff are safe and show no symptoms.
We have tested all the swabs this morning and tested negative, but will remain in self-isolation for the next 14 days in terms of safety.” Everyone around us.
“These are difficult times, but by staying in our homes and taking the right precautions, there is no doubt in my mind that we can beat this virus.
Stay home, everyone and be safe.”
A few days ago, producer Bonnie Kapoor’s house staff also tested positive for the virus. Kapoor is now in self-isolation with his daughters Janhvi and Khushi.
