Corona Vaccine : To prevent the third wave of the epidemic, India wants to give both doses of vaccine to 60 percent of the population by the end of the year.
Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said on Monday that
Since the launch of the nationwide campaign in January this year. More than 750 million Covid vaccine doses have been administered in India. If the dose continues at the same rate, then 43 percent of the country’s population can vaccinated by December. To prevent the third wave of the epidemic, India wants to give both doses of vaccine to 60 percent of the population by the end of the year.

Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya wrote a tweet and said-
With PM Modi’s mantra of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Prayas’. The world’s largest vaccination campaign is continuously creating new dimensions. #AazadiKaAmritMahotsav i.e. in the 75th year of independence, the country has crossed the figure of 75 crore vaccinations.
By December 43% of the population will be fully immunized
In India, 27,254 new cases of corona virus infection were reported in the last one day. After which the total cases increased to 3,32,64,175. With this, the number of patients under treatment came down to 3,74,269. 219 more patients died due to Covid-19, taking the death toll to 4,42,874. According to the ministry, the number of cases reported daily for the last 78 days has seen to be less than 50 thousand.
