The country’s largest automaker Maruti Suzuki is preparing to launch the new generation Maruti Vitara Brezza in the Indian market on June 30. Engine and gearbox.
The 2022 Maruti Brezza will use the new 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder K15C DualJet petrol engine borrowed from the new Ertiga. The obsolete 4-speed torque converter automatic gearbox will be replaced with a new 6-speed automatic unit as seen on the updated Ertiga. A 5-speed manual gearbox will continue to be available as standard.

Currently, the base variant of the current model costs Rs 7.84 lakh and the range-topping model costs Rs 11.49 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The new generation model is expected to fall within the price range of Rs 8 lakh to Rs 12 lakh.
Competition.
When launched in the Indian market, the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Brezza will compete with cars such as the Tata Nexon, Nissan Magnite, and the Mahindra XUV300.
