Yamaha Motor India is going to give something new to its customers in the new year and that is why the company is going to launch the FZ model range in a new way in India very soon. According to media reports, Yamaha is going to launch FZ, FZ-S and new top variant FZ-S Deluxe in India with many changes. The starting ex-showroom price of the new FZ range is Rs 1.10 lakh which goes up to Rs 1.16 lakh for the mid-spec variant FZ-S. The ex-showroom price of the new top model FZ-S Deluxe has fixed at Rs 1.19 lakh.
The biggest change in the 2022 FZ range is the new colors.
The biggest change in the new Yamaha FZ range is the new colours. The base model FZ is going to offered in two colors – Deep Purple Blue Metallic Y and Black Metallic X. The FZ-S will offered in two new options which include Matte Dull Red Metallic 4 and Matte Dark Purple Blue Metallic 1. The deluxe trim will launched in three colors including Black Metallic X, Deep Red Metallic X and Pastel Dark Grey. Yamaha is also going to introduce many new features with the updated range. With the FZ-S in sight, now customers will get LED taillight.
Features of Yamaha FZ Range.
Talking about the features, the updated motorcycle range will get colored alloy wheels, dual-colour seats and LED flashers. No new features have given in the model at the base of the bike. Apart from these, Yamaha’s Bluetooth-enabled console has given to the bike which connects many more features like Answer Back, E-Lock, Locate My Bike, Hazard to the bike. The bike will get a 149 cc engine that makes 12.2 bhp power and 13.6 Nm peak torque. The company has given a 5-speed gearbox with this engine.
Disc brakes on front and rear wheels
The new range gets telescopic forks at the front and monoshock suspension at the rear. Disc brakes have installed in the front and rear wheels of the bike and dual-channel ABS is provided with the bike. Sometime back, Yamaha introduced the new FZ range motorcycle, the FZ-X, which has brought in the neo-retro styling. The ex-showroom price of this motorcycle has made up to Rs 1.24 lakh and it is 2 kg heavier than the previous model.
