As smartphones prices are getting increased and companies like Apple, Samsung and Google have modified their strategy by launching more affordable smartphones. Due to some reports showed in the previously, it clearly states that smartphone prices are gradually increased to $1000 from the past two years. It arose that such a cost is not affordable by most of the people.

Tech companies had a tough time while satisfying consumers to upgrade to a new device due to raised rates as each year passes up. Global smartphone shipments have also been complicated when shipments improved to 0.8℅. Some brands like Apple, Samsung and Google have changed their smartphone launch techniques in past years to provide cheaper devices introduced to the demand of the consumer which is Samsung Galaxy S10E with $750, The iPhone 11 with $700 and Pixel 3a with $480.
As smartphone sales are collapsed due to an increase in price, companies like Apple, Samsung and Google made some changes to their smartphone price methods. For example, Apple launched expensively iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max, which costs almost $1000 last year, but they started a less expensive iPhone XR, which costs $750.And in 2019, they launched iPhone 11 as $700 which is cheaper as it’s a new flagship device, where there are iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max which costs more than $1000.Due to this statement, Apple acknowledged that $1000 smartphones are not for everyone.
Even Samsung followed the same marketing strategy by releasing S10E which costs $750, which is less expensive than Samsung Galaxy S10.
Even Pixel did the same by releasing a cheaper variant of Pixel 3 in the form of Pixel 3A which costs around $480 with almost similar features like Pixel 3 has it.
