There are three major Buddhist sites in Kushinagar.
The place of Mahaparinirvana of Lord Buddha is Parinirvana Temple and behind it is a stupa called Parinirvana Stupa. Ramabhar Stupa and Mathakunvar Temple are also centers of Buddhist faith. Apart from these, there are also places like Wat Thai Temple, Chinese Temple, Buddha Temple, Japanese Temple, Buddha Temple in Kushinagar which can become the center of attraction for international tourists.
