The all-new Royal Enfield Classic 350 is based on the company’s other model Meteor 350 motorcycle. It is built on the same J-platform in which the Meteor 350 has been prepared. Royal Enfield on Wednesday launched the next generation model of its popular retro cruiser bike through a virtual event. The new Classic 350 has been launched in 5 new variants Redditch series Redditch series, Halcyon series (Halcyon series), Classic Signals (Classic Signals), Dark series (Dark Series) and Classic Chrome (Classic Chrome) with 11 colors. The official booking of this bike will start from 6 pm on Wednesday. Customers wishing to buy the bike will be able to book it through the company’s dealership and official website. The motorcycle gets a distinctive teardrop shape tank, and the classic Royal Enfield casket that gets a new headlamp with the signature ‘tiger lamp’. Also present are pilot lights which have been a permanent feature of Royal Enfield motorcycles since 1954. With this bike, the company is giving a standard warranty of 3 years and roadside assistance of 1 year. The new Classic 350 will continue to compete with models like the Honda H’Ness CB350, Benelli Imperiale and many other products from Jawa Motorcycles in the Indian market.
Royal Enfield Classic 350 color options.
The new 2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 bike is available in 11 different color options. These include Chrome Red, Chrome Bronze, Dark Stealth Black, Dark Gunmetal Grey, Signal Marsh Grey, Signal Sandstorm, Halcyon Green, Halcyon Black, Halcyon Grey, Redditch Green and Redditch Grey. The first nine color options will be available with the dual-channel ABS model, while the last two color options will be available with the single-channel ABS variant.
The new Classic 350 bike gets a new fuel injected single-cylinder 4-stroke engine of 349 cc. This engine generates power of 20.2 bhp at 6,100 rpm and torque of 27 Nm at 4,000 rpm. This engine has given a 5-speed gearbox. The new bike is available in both single and dual seat variants.
Features of Royal Enfield Classic 350.
The new generation Classic 350 has launched with many new features. This is the second model from the brand to get a tripper turn-by-turn navigation system. The motorcycle gets a new instrument cluster, in which features like fuel gauge and LCD information panel have given. The new Classic 350 gets a USB charger, a redesigned taillight, updated exhaust pipe. The handlebar has updated for better ergonomics. It gets a 13-litre fuel tank and updated seats for a more comfortable riding experience.
Braking and suspension of Royal Enfield Classic 350.
For suspension, the new generation Classic 350 bike gets 41 mm telescopic front forks with 130 mm of travel and 6-step adjustable twin-tube emulsion shock absorbers at the rear. For braking, 300 mm front disc brake and 270 mm rear disc brake have been provided. There is also a rear drum variant that gets a 153 mm drum brake at the rear. It comes with both single and dual-channel ABS options. The motorcycle gets 19-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels, which get wide tubeless tyres. The wheels of the bike are available in both multispoke and alloy options.
