South Africa announces T20 squad
South Africa has announced a 16-man squad for next month’s T20 series against India. Young player Tristan Stubbs has also got a place in the team, who is part of Mumbai Indians (MI). The special thing is that the South African team is going to play T20 International for the first time after last year’s ICC T20 World Cup.

21-year-old Stubbs had an impressive performance in Cricket South Africa’s (CSA) T20 Challenge. He scored 293 runs in seven innings, which included 23 sixes. During this his strike rate was 183.12. He was also part of the South Africa-A squad for the Zimbabwe tour, after which he was included in the Mumbai Indians squad for the ongoing Indian Premier League.

South Africa Tour of India : Norkea is back
Along with fast bowler Enrique Norcia, who has recovered from a hip injury, batsmen Reeza Hendrix and Heinrich Klaasen have also been included in the team. Norkia is currently playing for Delhi Capitals in IPL. Parnell has also returned to the South African T20 team for the first time since 2017.
