Korean language web series Squid Games has broken all records of popularity on Netflix. This thriller series has garnered 111 million views in 25 days leaving everyone behind. Recently Netflix officially announced that Squid game has become the most watched web series in 25 days of release.
The show, directed by Hwang Dong-hyuk, premiered on the streamer on September 17. Also it was released in many languages on Netflix including Hindi. The reason for the popularity of the Korean web series is also that all its characters are seen performing well in the squid game.
There are many such complex plots in many places in the thriller web series which make it more interesting. Last week Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos said that Squid Game is on track to become the biggest show in Netflix history.

With this, Jung Ho Yeon surpassed Hee Kyo who had 12.1 million followers. Jang Ho Yeon has now become the most followed Korean actress on Instagram.
