Increase in new cases of coronavirus in India
coronavirus : Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called an important meeting after the growing cases of Corona in the country. This meeting with the Chief Ministers of all the states will take place on Wednesday afternoon at 12:30 pm. This meeting is considered to very important, given the graph of increase in cases of corona virus in several states including Maharashtra, Kerala, Punjab, Delhi and UP.
Advisory has already been sent to the states –
Considering the increase in corona cases by the Union Health Ministry, advisory has already send to all the states. From mid-February, there was an increasing trend in Corona cases, which is continuing. In such a situation, the Central Government is feeling that if vigilance is not take now, Corona can take a frightening form again. Corona was devastate during September-October last year, when the number of daily cases had reach close to one lakh.
3.8% increase in coronavirus cases –
The graph of coronavirus in India is growing rapidly once again. There has been a 3.8 percent increase in new COVID-19 cases in the country. According to the Health Ministry, 26,291 new cases of corona infection have been registered in the last 24 hours. With this, the total number of cases in the country has increased to 1.13 crore. In the past 24 hours, that is, 118 people died in a day due to infection. A total of 1,58,725 people have died so far. On Sunday, 25,320 new cases were report.
More than double corona cases in a month in Maharashtra –
There were 16620 new cases in Maharashtra, the highest since 30 September. The lockdown-like restrictions have impose in view of increase cases in districts like Maharashtra’s Aurangabad, Parbhani, Osmanabad, Pune, Nanded, Thane, Palghar, Jalgaon, Nagpur, Latur, Dhule, Wardha, Nashik. Has reached close to 2 thousand, which is more than double in a month.
