Team India’s star player Virat Kohli is playing his 100th test match. When the Indian team came out to field in Mohali, the players gave a Guard of Honour to Virat Kohli. Virat hugged Captain Rohit.

The Test match being played in Mohali is special for Virat Kohli, the former captain of Team India. This is the 100th Test match of Virat’s career and to make it special, Team India adopted a special method. When the Indian team came out to field after the end of their innings, King Kohli was given a Guard of Honour by the players of the team.

Players gave Guard of Honour during fielding

The Indian team declared its first innings on a score of 574 in the Mohali Test. Shortly after this, Team India started fielding. When Team India was taking entry in the field, then all the players stood face to face and gave guard of honor to Virat Kohli.

Virat Kohli also took an entry in it with fun and thanked everyone. Virat Kohli then hugged captain Rohit Sharma and said thank you. When he was given the Guard of Honour, then the atmosphere of the field became full of enthusiasm.

Was honored even before the match

Let us tell you that the Indian team had also honored Virat Kohli before the start of the Mohali Test match. Coach Rahul Dravid handed over a special cap to Virat, in which his name and Test number were inlaid. During this, Virat Kohli’s wife Anushka Sharma was also on the ground with him.

Virat Kohli has become the 12th Indian cricketer to play 100 matches in Test cricket.

While he has become the 71st cricketer in world cricket. He said that it is a matter of honor and fulfillment of dreams for him. When I was entering this match, I felt that I am going to make my debut.

Virat scored 45 runs in the first innings of the Mohali Test.

Along with this, he also completed 8000 runs of his Test career. Virat Kohli’s bat has not scored a century for the last two and a half years, everyone expected that he would definitely be able to complete his century drought on this special occasion. But he got clean bowled on the score of 45 in the first innings.
